Do you know what colors are? I am sure your first answer to my question must be a 'yes' without doubt. Now suppose I am a blind person who has no idea about the concept of colors.Suppose, I am a person for whom black is the only color, black is the only vista, and iridescent darkness is the only thing to behold. I have heard about different colors like red, yellow, green, blue and gold but, being blind since birth, I do not know how to imagine them. Understanding red and blue is almost inscrutable for me. I ask you for help. I ask you to expound on the seemingly impossible concept of colors and shades. Now tell me how would you explain the red color to me. How would you make me realize the difference between red and blue, blue and green, green and yellow, and yellow and gold? To a toddler you might explain the red color by showing him a red rose but how would you explain it to a hapless blind human who cannot see the rose? Now again consider the question I asked you in the beginning. Do you know what colors are?If again you have a 'yes' as your answer then you are too godly to be called human but if it is an honest 'no' then you must have realized the miracle of colors by now. Colors are nothing but an ineffable miracle. So whenever you happen to pass through a garden, do admire the color of the rose. Whenever you look up at the sky, do praise its immaculate blue shade. Whenever you see a green meadow, do compliment nature for its verdant beauty. Whenever you feel you have nothing to be happy about, do remember that blind who can not look out of his window to behold a colorful garden adorned by multicolored butterflies...
